anyway the wind blows

       Next time I need to plan better. I feel like for as much time as I spend writing lists, I say that a lot. I said that in email the other day. I am pretty sure I said it a couple weeks ago too. It is true. Mondays are the day I post where and when you can find me. Sunday at 7:15 pm, I have no idea where I am going or when I will be there.
      My ocd is quiet, I feel really good about the statements above.
     

I'm really into tarot cards, divination, horoscopes etc. I am a rational person. I feel silly putting stock into what effect a person's birthday has on their personality. But also- I enjoy feeling silly. Whether it is a self-fulfilling prophecy, a spin on the placebo effect or that somehow what the stars are doing on the day one is born has a huge impact on the person you are destined to be, I have no idea. I enjoy these things, that is enough of a reason for me to spend time indulging in them.
       I read my cards almost daily. Last night I pulled a single card from a deck I seldom use. I am not clairvoyant, I just pull a card and read what the accompanying book says that card means.  I want to share a piece of what the book said this card meant. Do you know how much joy the universe gains from being able to give to you? When you delight in what you receive (sic) the universe is fully received by you.  
       It spoke to me. I love to give gifts. I love when I see a thing, and it reminds me that a person I know loves that thing. So I give this thing to them and their eyes go all big and shiny. Giving gifts to adults is a pretty safe thing to do. It might thrill them like I hope, or it might be a miss but they will be polite about it. Giving gifts to kids though, that is the best. It is a higher risk. If the gift is a flop, even kids with great manners are usually unable to hide their disappointment. If it is a hit though, some of them will literally bounce off the walls with their happiness. I love that.

Lately I feel like I work a lot of hours. I wear many hats. I worry a lot. 

That's one way of looking at it, but here is another:

     I have a job I love, and because I excel at it, I am in high demand. I have many skills, and I have found ways to best apply them. I have a many things I care deeply about in my life. I have an abundance of things I care deeply about.
    The universe has given me so much. I have done my best to always recognize that, to be thankful, but perhaps recently I had forgotten to delight in it.  Etiquette dictates that we show gratitude when we receive a gift, but delight shows our sincerity. Delight is what we give back when really this is exactly what I wished for.
        Tomorrow, today when you are reading this, is Monday. I have no idea where I will be. This is the first week of a new month, I have no idea what this month will have in store for me. It is my intention simply to demonstrate my delight.

& it didn't fit anywhere else.

Tuesday Q&A: Watch Me

Just a little off but not behind schedule this week. I can't be behind, Thursday's post already exists. I must be off though, here it is Tuesday and I am sitting at the keys. This will post today. I think I have shared my approach before, I prefer writing the week's posts on Sundays and scheduling them to post on the appropriate days. It gives me a chance to let my thoughts sit for a minute, then check for typos and edit before it goes live. There is a perk to same day posts though, they're just completely off the cuff so I am far less inclined to self-censor. I know you're laughing, you're saying she doesn't self-censor. I do, trust me, things infinitely more outrageous than what makes it to print float through my thoughts constantly. 

I think this post will lend itself really well to off the cuff, uncensored me. I think before I am done I am going to add an outrageously inappropriate for public photo to it, hit save and live with the consequences. It's Tuesday, the most muggle day of the week. Let's get in trouble. 

The idea for the post has been floating around for a week or two. There's a rough outline in my rough outline notebook. I have explained before how Q&A Tuesdays work. I have explained my ocd before, Tuesdays are for Q&As. I forgot to ask allan for questions again. I forgot to tell him to make it a standing order, questions every week allan by Friday. There check that off the To Do List. So I asked allan for questions on Saturday I think. He followed directions, he typically does. I didn't give him a theme, just send anything. He sent 3 great questions, that completely do not fit this week's agenda. But my ocd says that Tuesdays are for questions, preferably questions asked by slave allan. Although for the record if my followers wished to ask me a question, I'd be happy to add them to a Tuesday post. I'm going to answer a question allan asked in an email that he intended to be answered for him. 

The question was; is it appropriate for me to watch your broadcasts on Chaturbate I am your slave, should I see you this way? Let's expand this to fit here.

Well, are you my friend? Do you want to be? Are you cool? Is this one of my current projects? What do the cool people do? They support their friends projects. I feel like I have said this once or twice.  If you are awake at midnight I would love for you to come hang out with me while I broadcast. 

Why should you? Well aren't I the most charming person you know? Don't you want to spend time with me? More seriously, I am trying to build a following. The hours I am available to broadcast are not the busiest hours on the site. The number of people hanging out in a room is one of the factors that determines where one's room is shown on the list of broadcasters to choose from.  My public broadcasts are very conservative compared to other broadcasters. Viewers on Chaturbate can view and message broadcasters for free with or without signing up as a member. I save the most risque parts of my broadcasts for private shows when viewers pay for them.  One of things that keeps a viewer in your room, improving the probability that they will choose to engage in a private show, is how well the broadcaster is engaging with her followers. If my room is packed with my friends, it will be engaging. 

 

What will you see if you come hang out? You will see me start off the night looking pretty, I hope, with fresh make-up and my hair done. You'll see me being flirty. Which I think mostly looks silly. You'll probably see me roll my eyes at some of the screen names and pick up lines the muggles use. You'll hear me say no, a lot. You may hear me negotiate a private session, it may include some adult language but that is more commonly done in private messages. You may hear me retell stories you have heard before, and I bet a bunch that you have not. You may hear me tell a story about you, I promise I will protect your privacy and I assure you I only share stories that are happy memories. You will probably be flattered. You may see flashes of nudity.  You'll hear my favorite songs. You may see me quite enjoy myself, but not quite thoroughly enjoy myself. I save that for private sessions. I will duck out occasionally for private sessions as they happen. If you're so inclined, there's an option to spy on private sessions for a fee. For what it is worth, people spying on private shows are anonymous. Unless I happen to notice that the tip counter is moving at a rate reflecting that there additional viewers, I will not even know that someone is watching, I definitely won't know that it is you watching. Know how much time I spend worried about who spied on my shows? Exactly zero seconds. Watch me, I like an audience. I do not engage in anything, anywhere, that I wouldn't smile to know that every adult on the planet signed in to see and enjoyed. And when I come back from a private or at the end of the night, you may see me look tired, but quite satisfied. 

Where to Find Mistress Cassidy this Week

Let it be known that Mistress is sitting at the keys on Sunday evening updating my schedule, writing entries and purring with happiness after the most wonderful weekend in recent memory. Wednesday, remember I have explained this before My weekend begins on Wednesdays, saw me in the studio with my good friend Lunchbagg. He is an aspiring musician, and host of a fun podcast hosted in Providence. Expect some cross-promoting links to be posted in another entry this week. Lunch and his crew are muggles, but very open to learning about the scene. Mistress may have turned one into an explorer. I have a new goal list for August, all about making moving in September go as smoothly as possible and Thursday some time was invested in those projects. Friday I saw a new subbie I suspect I will see again. And of course Saturday was spent at Twizted Acres, where for the first time in months nearly all of the regulars were in attendance. There were a few notable exceptions, it is still summer and kinksters take vacations too. I missed my friend who reenacts the Buffalo Bill scene when Goodbye Horses plays on my playlist, and his pretty, energetic subbie. I missed Mistress X and our late night chats. My favorite glass artist and her smoke show partner were not able to attend. I was hoping a certain newbie would be returning this week, but sadly she did not. It is unfortunate that this was the week they missed, because the house was jumping all night. I am pretty sure that every body this week had a scene of significance in the course of the night. Today I napped, and prepped for my most favorite day of the week; Monday. And shh, Mistress tries not to kiss and tell so don't go telling people about this; but through all of this wonderfulness, at the most perfect moments and completely unexpectedly my phone would ping and I would find my top's smiling face and thoughtful messages waiting for me. I suspect my decompression, my drop in adrenaline will be a gentle slope this week and  I will navigate life in the vanilla world smoothly until I am back in my real world next.

We shall see for sure on Thursday, but my Hazey, Mistress Dahlia, Mistress Liberty, Mistress X (which is not her scene name, it's the moniker I gave her until I can verify that her personal & professional scene name are the same), Miss Sunshyne and the lovely Keypup have all expressed a hope that they will be there. Secret sharing, Mistress has a great fondness both in scenes and privately for ice play. August 10th is sure to be plenty hot enough for an amazing ice scene and I am flipping through my contacts looking for the right body to create this scene with.

Monday: May 8th 2017

It's a week into May, and so far, it's getting a mixed review from me. While it hasn't been utterly dead in the studio, it has been slower than I would like. I have been clicking away at the keyboard. I've made steady and significant progress on several projects, but I haven't completed one yet. The garden is exploding with flowers from all the rain, while the riding ring  is ankle deep mud. Over all I suppose all is well, but there is definitely room for improvement. 

Let's get on with the list. 

• New Toys: It's been a few weeks since I mentioned picking this up, I finally had a chance to try it out. (The picture will be at the bottom. I can't seem to post it here without messing up the formatting.) It's the pink seat bouncy seat with a built in, vibrating, oh I hate to be vulgar but I'm at a loss for a delicate term for it. The pink seat with the big vibrating cock. There just say it and move on. It came from Love Honey, which you will find the link to right over there----> on the sidebar, and if you order through that link I will get a little commission. I forget the exact price, but it was under $40 and my order qualified for free shipping. The shipping was lightning fast, and the packaging was completely discreet. Just another big brown box like my mail carrier is use to dropping on my doorstep every few days. It has to be blown up of course, I don't know if you could affix a bicycle pump to the valve. I know if you are me you can hand it off to a slutty sissy submissive (try saying that 3 times fast), and promise them they can be the first to try it out if they blow it up. I think most ladies would find the toy to be a great size, and the range of vibration to be pretty standard. My slutty sissy submissives though will probably think it looks a bit too small and then find it is actually a bit too big when they try to use it. Covered with latex and plenty of lube, with patience it'll fit.Because it's a seat, and we had it set up on the floor, gravity wanted to challenge patience and have it slide home faster. Setting it up on the edge of a bed may make it easier to use, and I suspect for taller than average subs, it would be much more comfortable on a surface higher than the floor. I'm very happy with the purchase. There are certainly better, oh here we go again with the vulgarity, there are better fucking machines on the market. They sell for significantly more than $40 bucks. This was inexpensive, seems very durable, and it is easy to clean. If one doesn't have a private playroom where one can display big pink cocks on a bouncy chair, inflating and deflating for storing after each use might become a pain in the ass. But in my studio it can sit right in the middle of my toy room. 
• Nails & Toes: They're naked again. I have a professional mani & pedi scheduled later this week. 
• New Projects: I believe I will be unveiling the project I've been fine-tuning this week. The next entry should be the big announcement and I think the next entry will be on Wednesday. Another project that really needs to go on the To Do List, is creating an email sign-up gadget. Then you'd be notified whenever there was a new post or project. 
• Looking Forward To (Scene): I believe I am going to do a double Mistress scene with a very good friend, a talented life style player I've been trying to convince to join me in sessions for years, later in the month. For now it is a one time engagement, but my fingers are crossed that she'll love it and regularly join me in the dungeon. 
• Looking Forward To (Vanilla): Things are relatively quiet in my vanilla life. It's almost, but not quite time to schedule the first camping trip of the season. Almost but not quite time to open the pool for the summer.

Tuesday is the New Monday

What's better than any Monday? A Monday that also happens to be the first of a new month! If Monday is a new notebook, with infinite possibilities; a month starting on a Monday is a new Trapper Keeper with matching folders. Mistress is a bit of a dork, I am OK with this. You should be too or you should look for a new dominant to follow and/or serve. 

• New Toys: If I'm not mistaken this will be the third time I type, no new toys lately. It's almost like my wishlist isn't posted on my website & my subbies don't know what I need. 
• Nail & toe polish: Completely naked on both fronts. I've been in the garden or the stable every moment it hasn't been raining. A deep moisturizing session is in order before fresh paint. 
• New Projects: Steady progress is being made on the as yet unrevealed new project. I'm hoping it will be ready for sharing in the next week or so...hold your breath for me, it may make me work faster. Oh OK that's a fib, but it will amuse me if you turn blue like a smurf for a minute or two.
• Ebook Updates: Progress here! Yay! My muse started singing and I banged out another few pages and edited what was done previously. I'm going to remove my self-imposed deadline here. It was intended to motivate me, it failed.The ideas come when the ideas come, forcing it when it's just not happening makes it sound awkward and labored.  
• Looking forward to (scene): I have a couple of old friends stopping in the studio over the next few days. Looking forward to some extended scenes. There's also a couple of rough draft entries awaiting tidying up & posting here. Watch for them. 
• Looking forward to (vanilla): We can probably just always assume that this space will contain the words horse, garden in some combination until summer. At that time it will be edited to say horse, garden, pool, beach. 

Monday's List: On Tuesday

My vanilla world has been a little full the past few days, so this week's Monday List took til Tuesday to exist. Oops. 

• Available Days: I'm not sure if I have any days open this week. Again, my vanilla obligations are a bit more full than normal. I may have some time open on Thursday, the weekend looks promising too.

• New Projects: I have a couple of projects that I am super excited about. Neither is really ready for the big reveal yet though. At least one of them will be unveiled in the next few days. Come back & watch for it. 
• Ebook Updates: Ya, nothing to see here. That line on my daily To Do List has remained un-checked for days & days now. 
• Looking forward to (scene): I think, fingers crossed, I'm finally going to get around to taking some new photos. 
• Looking forward to (vanilla): I did get some of the work I had planned for the garden done when the weather cooperated for 1 minute the other day. Looks like it's going to rain forever now. No pony riding, and no digging in the dirt until it stops. I may build a fire in the fireplace one last time tonight though, it's really not chilly enough to justify it but I'm going to miss it over the summer. 

Monday's List: April 17th

Mistress had a wonderful Easter with friends and family that I do not get to see nearly often enough. I hope my readers and subs had the same. I am refreshed and eager to swing my flogger soon.
A week ago I introduced a new, regular feature on this blog. The Monday List, last week's can be found here. The following is this week's list:

• Available Days: I have time available Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday this week.
• New Toys: Sadly I have not done any toy shopping. It's on the agenda to order a new ball gag, seems one of my favorites disappeared. 
• Nail & toe polish: My pamper toes are sporting a navy blue, my fingernails are naked at the moment. Before the day is over they'll be "Crime of Passion" red. 
• New Projects: I assigned Slave allan, a project that amused me last week. I must remember to follow up & see if he completed it satisfactorily. 
• Ebook Updates: I'm excited to share that my ebook idea came off the "To Do Soon" list, and moved to the "Off to a Good Start" list. A slow start, just 450 words without editing, but a slow start is still a start. 
• Looking forward to (scene): I have a couple of fun sessions scheduled for this week. If you ask nicely perhaps I'll share the details in an upcoming post. If you beg and whimper, maybe I'll post pictures too.  
• Looking forward to (vanilla): Gardening! I planted about 150 bulbs last fall; daffodils, tulips, irises, gladiolas and saffron crocuses. They're all poking through the soil, and 2 yellow daffodils are just about ready to bloom. This week I'll be spring cleaning the veggie beds and making final decisions about what I'm planting this year.

These are a few of my favorite things...

Two of my very favorite things are Mondays and lists.
I read an article 20 or more years ago that said a disproportional percentage of people die on Mondays. The author speculated this was because a disproportionate number of people hate their jobs. It's been a long time, I don't recall fact checking the article. Maybe it was all hokum, but it stuck with me all the same. It seems like it could be true. Mondays have always been my favorite day of the week. I vowed to never work a job that I hate and ruin the best day of the week by dying on it some day while stuck in traffic.
Mondays are the best day of the week because it's a new start. Whatever went wrong last week is over, on Monday there is the potential for every thing to go perfectly. Monday is a new notebook and a freshly sharpen pencil.
Which brings me to one of my other favorite things. Lists. I love lists. I am mildly OCD. At the start of the day I find my list reassuring. This is what I am going to do, and I am prepared to do it. At the end of the day my list with a column of neat little checks is a reward. Even items that don't have a check, items that didn't get competed, they're no big deal. There they are ready to be transposed to tomorrow's list. Without a list those items would bounce around in my thoughts and keep me from sleeping until they were completed.
All of this was to say I have a new idea for this blog, an idea that combines my favorite things, a Monday List. Each Monday I will post a list of what's going on in the studio. So without further ado, the first Monday List.

• Available Days: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday
• New toys: Pink bouncy seat that I believe I have posted a picture of recently
• New Projects: Mistress is starting an ebook tentative release date May 1st
• Looking forward to (scene): a session with a subbie that first contacted me over a decade ago, but was unable to follow through at the time.
