Making a First Impression

Let's talk for a minute about first impressions. No, not the first impression I will make on your ass with my crop, dial it back there bad boy. I am talking about the first impression you make with your initial message to me. 

The truth is, far too many initial contacts are just not properly presented. From experience, I do know that the majority will evolve into great sessions that I will enjoy, so I do not dismiss inquiries out of hand for minor flaws. I also realize that while I have screened through thousands or more inquiries over the years, the subs who contact me may be writing their first. And I am a pragmatic type of Dominant, let me give you some pointers. '

1. Use the contact method listed as best in the advertisement you found me through. Email is always my preferred method of contact. Every ad I place includes a link to my site, where one will find a simple, easy to use, form for submitting an email, or my email, cassidycream15@gmail.com will be listed for directly emailing me. Which is listed it typically based on the parameters of the place the ad is running. On a very rare occasion, particularly if I have had a last minute cancellation, I will run a quick ad that includes a phone number. It will state clearly, in bold text, sometimes even in all caps, TEXT ONLY.  As those who have seen me already know, you will have my phone number to confirm your session. You may call me to arrange future sessions. But if you're still a stranger, you are not to call me and interrupt my vanilla life. Send a text, state that it is or isn't OK to call you back at the number that the text was sent through, hold your breath and wait for my reply. I will get back to you. 
2. The right length for an initial email is 5-8 sentences. Less than that will not convey the information I need, more than that is a chore to read through. It should include an appropriate greeting. If you have been paying attention, you know already that I am not terribly caught up in titles. "Good morning Ma'am" is appropriate. Good Morning Supreme Goddess Most High Cassidy Cream of Tarth first of her name,  is wordy, silly and it doesn't impress me.  Yes, I am being sarcastic, but not much. Ms. Cassidy, Mistress Cream is also completely acceptable. So a quick greeting, next you should briefly state who you are. "I am a sub bob from ____, I have XX years of experience training with Miss So Kind and Miss Beats My Ass." You should state your primary interests. If there is something new you would like to explore, you should state that as well. "Mistress I saw that you offer sounds, while I have never experienced that, I would like to explore this type of play.". If this is your first exploration, there is no need to withhold that information. I have said it many times, I love sessioning with newbies. Finally, you should state when you are hoping to schedule our session and if needed, state any restrictions there may be when contacting you. Notice I didn't mention asking for more pictures, or asking for details of what normally happens in a session. I prefer to contain my exposure online. I share enough photos that I am confident they convey that I do not look like an ogre and to session with me, that is all you need to know in advance. I am a 44-year-old woman who works in the adult industry, my self-confidence is justified. If you would like to session with a super model, might I suggest that you change your search criteria and find a Domme in her 20s? We each have different priorities, those who serve me should prioritize experience. Do not ask for details about a session. We can arrange a phone, skype or online session if you are nervous about serving in person. Every session is unique, the only way to know what your session will be like is to experience it. Finally, you may ask if I have a specific piece of equipment, you may ask about my sterilization techniques or any technical question that relates to your safety or well-being.
3. If you state that you want to be owned in your first message, I will assume you are a time waster. You may not realize you are a time waster, but the fact is if your fantasy is to submit yourself to a stranger, full-time, to do with as she pleases; your fantasy can not be safely explored and I am not interested. Here most who fall into this category would opt to insure me that they are not concerned about their safety. And this confirms that they are a time waster. My safety is of the utmost importance to me, and it should be obvious that signing on an unknown sub is not a safe practice for a Dominatrix. Further, I'm not terribly interested in investing my time in a sub who does not take his own well-being seriously. Now if you want to safely explore full-time, contract, collaring you may arrange a session. Mention in that session that your goal is full-time service, and we can begin the discussion about how that might work. 
4. Finally a few words about my tribute and the possibility of a discount. I enjoy sessioning with a wide range of people, I appreciate that some of my most devoted subs are those that my tribute is a significant financial sacrifice for them. I offer several ways my subs can make sessioning better fit in their budget. One will note that my per hour tribute drops substantially for longer sessions. The set-up time for me usually doesn't change for a longer session, I would prefer longer sessions so my tribute reflects that. I also offer a discount that can be applied as money off or additional time if a sub prepays their session in full. The final option is one that I do not typically mention in ads anymore as it attracted far too many time wasters. In my vanilla projects, I am very open to exchanging services with other professionals.  I am also open to exchange for sessions, with other professionals. That does not mean that you can wash my floor in exchange for a session. Every single sub I see is capable of washing my floors if that is what I desire. From time to time I mention what my current needs are if you are a professional in one of those areas I will consider a session for trade. 

Q & A with Mistress Part Two

I enjoyed how the first Q&A (click here to read) went and hope to make it a regular feature. Of course it would be much easier to insure that it becomes a regular feature if all my mute fans would submit a question or two for me to answer.  Poor slave allan is going to run out of questions. 

Once again my owner has graced us with the answers to a couple of my question. So, who am I. Simply put, I am Mistress Cassidy collared slave allan, otherwise referred to as her secretary slave. This is the second time Mistress has given us a glimpse behind the women who owns me. And with luck this will not be the last time either. If you have not read Mistress’s first Q@A please take a moment later on to check it out. In that blog Mistress bluntly pointed out that typos that got by me would be punished. So in an attempt to save of any errors, I have use my Word program to help me catch any mistakes.

Mistress I am reasonable sure there are no mistakes in my spelling or grammar. But if a reader or youself find one, please point it out so I can learn from my mistake. I have had this project for quite sometime, and I hope my work is pleasing enough to my owner, to earns me brownie points against my tardiness.  Now lets move onto the Q and A

                                           

When everything is said and done at the end of the day. How does Mistress Cassidy unwind? Social Media or Television.

I spend entirely too much time online, but I don't consider that downtime. Most days I spend a couple hours online screening messages, responding and promoting my sessions. I also have a couple vanilla projects that require an online presence doing much the same things in different settings.  I always imagine that I'm going to be able to sit at my laptop, whip through these tasks and then get spend some time catching up with friends, indulging my Pinterest addiction and veg out with an audio-book or eBook. Of course, it never works out that way. As to what do I watch when I have time to relax. I love how entertainment has evolved in my lifetime. I love that at any time, on any day, I can check out a new to me show. If I love it I can binge as many available episodes and/or seasons as my schedule allows. I loved the Handmaiden's Tale. I thought the show did a great job staying true to the original story. I liked Harlots and I am impatiently waiting to find out when the next season will be released. I am a Dr. Who fan and I am so excited that the next doctor is being played by Jodie Whittaker. I have a love-hate relationship with Game of Thrones- which has not stayed true to the books & the cliff hangers make me want to hurt someone. I'm a fan of Criminal Minds, I love that Paget Brewster has returned to the series and I am not sad that Thomas Gibson left. I am sad that Orphan Black is on its last season. And my other favorite reality show, Project Runway, is just about to start up again- so I am super excited about that too.

With all the different fashions you have seen over the years, what is your opinion of the clothing that young adults are wearing now. And would you consider the clothing too revealing? 

Not at all. I'm turning 45 this November. As a teen the most influential fashion icons for me were Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Sheila E, Prince and artists like them.

          

Madonna in ruffly skirts with net tops & combat boots, Cyndi with half her head shaved, two tons of thrift store jewelry and plaid evening gowns, and Prince with one-legged pants and cropped top formal jackets- I loved those looks. I was just a bit too young for first wave punk, but the way the individuality and rebellious looks of punk trickled into mainstream pop at the time had a lasting effect on my personal style. I think, with few exceptions, modern fashion is uninspiring, unimaginative and rather conservative.

I don't think it's a sign of my age, but I don't get the controversy that follows stars like Miley Cyrus. I remember reading scathing reviews of her "teddy bear teddy" and bikini with the foam #1 hand prop. I didn't care for either look, but not because they were too provocative- how is a teddy bear bathing suit provocative??? I didn't care for the looks because they were goofy and she didn't look comfortable in them. And I don't mean the comfort of yoga pants, I mean the comfort of this is my body, I know I look hotter than the sun and I enjoy looking this way

                                         

I don't see many younger women (or men for that matter) rocking looks that they seem to own. I have seen many naked bodies in my 44 years, how much or how little clothing one wears is no longer surprising, shocking or inspiring to me. Confidence is the only thing that catches my eye these days.

Q&A with Mistress Cassidy

I've decided to introduce a new, I hope regular, feature for the blog. I was finding it challenging to come up with topics to write about when I have the chance to write. No shortage of ideas while I'm driving, or riding the horse or flogging some sub; but when there is a moment with a pen or a keyboard- amnesia. The idea, the following entry- to allow my secretary sub to ask me questions, scene & vanilla, to send him the answers in short-hand and for him to create the entry from there. The entry below are my answers to slave allan's questions. Typos that got by slave allan will be punished, so please feel free to point them out....and feel free to submit your own questions for me to answer in future entries.

Hi I am Mistress Cassidy's collared slave allan. Recently Mistress has permitted me to ask her several question, to allow me to get to know my owner even better. The response that follows are just but the first of many I asked. If it pleases Mistress, she may respond to some of the other questions in the future. I hope you enjoy reading Mistress's answers as much as I did.

Network Television is littered with every reality shows imaginable. Does this programming interest you? If yes, is there a favorite that you would feel comfortable telling us. I'm not a fan of most reality TV. There have been a couple shows over the years that I enjoyed, like Surreal Life, and Celebrity Rehab. The only reality show I currently watch is RuPaul's Drag Race, which I absolutely love. I've been a loyal fan since the first season and have caught a few of the Queens live shows. If you are wondering what to get the Mistress who has everything for her birthday or Christmas, tickets to any drag show in Boston, Worcester or Providence would be a great idea.  

                   

Books like Harry Potter to 50 shades are very popular in today society. From an assignment when you made me find a book list for you I know you like to read. Do you enjoy the books being published today? Or do you prefer the classics.  I find the examples you choose amusing. I love one of those series so much I camped out for one the books releases, and I disliked the other so very much that it's been added to the very short list of books I didn't finish reading. Go ahead, guess which is which. Now to answer your question. I'll read anything, and I read as much as I can squeeze into the extra minutes of every day. There was an interview with Freddie Mercury where he states that he'll sleep with anybody. I feel that way about books, and I think I get more pleasure from this habit than Freddie got from his. I love antique cookbooks and etiquette guides. I love fantasy and science fiction. I love horror. I love short story collections. I love young adult fiction, and historical fiction. I love biographies, anyone's biography. I'm not a fan of murder and crime mystery; I know that I am not a fan because I've read at least 100 books in that genre and none are my favorites. Similarly, I don't love romance novels, but I will whip through at least a dozen this summer sitting by the pool. I'm currently reading a Stephen King short story collection; the name is escaping me & the book isn't handy. I'm also re-reading The Handmaiden's Tale and a poetry collection by a self-publish author.

I think is hard to tell the difference between rock music and country sometimes. Do you like today's artists and today's music. And which genre do you prefer. Do you really find it hard to tell the difference? If it's about sex, drugs or teen angst, it's rock. If it's about pickup trucks, girls that got away or mentions a dog, it's country. I'm not a fan of country, and there have not been many new artists in the last 5 years or so that I have really loved. Three of my favorite artists were Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, and Prince. Freddie died on my 19th birthday. And last year saw the passing of Bowie, Prince and my father. I have no living favorites.... This went somewhere depressing fast. Let's try to get back in a better groove. I love lyrics. I love when a song fits my mood or improves my mood. When I am finished with this I think I am going to put on some Marilynn Manson. And let Manson scream my angst away for me. 

  

With the success of the Fast and the Furious franchise. Where would I find Mistress Cassidy in a street race. Behind the wheel of a Japanese sports car. Or would American muscle be the ride of choice. Or would we find you tucked into an Italian super car? Mistress Cassidy is utterly and completely not impressed by cars. My requirements for my car is that it gets me comfortably from point A to point B and that it doesn't require a car payment to exist. I haven't driven anything less than 10 years old since I was in my early 20s, and that has been by choice. That philosophy applies to pretty much all areas. I'm not impressed by status symbols or brands. I appreciate quality and durability.
